About this medicine

Long-acting insulin glargine for once-daily basal blood sugar control.

Uses

  • Type 1 diabetes mellitus
  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus (when insulin is required)

How to use

Inject under the skin exactly as directed by your doctor; rotate injection sites.

Common side effects

  • Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
  • Injection site reactions
  • Weight gain
  • Swelling of hands or feet
